Das Sweet Shoppe in Leavenwortd

They had standard candy you can find anywhere, so I ended up passing on it. However, my friend and I decided to try 3 truffles. We got a cherries jubilee, an eggnog, and a caramel. They were terribly overpriced at almost $4 per truffle. Furthermore, they were some of the worst truffles I've had. They were terribly sweet, hard centers, and had an almost old/stale taste to them. You'd be better off at getting a bag of Lindor truffles.

Great ice cream if you have been out in the heat of Leavenworth in the summer. Great cones and many flavor choices.

Nice enough place. Little bothered by the "cash discount" though. I noticed the $.50 discount for cash and was amazed that I actually had cash on hand. Upon paying I noticed there was no discount. The girl explained that you have to pay $.50 more for using a credit card. Uh, that's not a discount then, that's a credit card fee. Avoiding a fee does not equal a discount.

It would be nice if you could update your social media to reflect the actual time you close at. We were met by a very rude staff member at 9:05PM at the door who let us know you close at 9PM now.

The name says it all, it is a sweets shop and I mean all kind of sweets. The ice creams are awesome, with unique selection of flavors and colors. Then it was little bit of everything, chocolates, packaged chocolates, candies and whatever else you can think of (Check pictures to see what I am talking about)I really liked this place.

The alluring smell of popcorn and sweets drew me into this store, which has a wide selection of candy, tin lunch boxes, ice cream, popcorn and truffles. They won my business by carrying cow tales, a vintage candy that’s hard to find these days.

This is a very cute place! It offers a large variety of candies, chocolates, cotton candy, popcorn, and ice cream! It definitely is a sweet shop! They also offer different items for purchase such as lunchboxes, games, and tiny toys for kids! It’s very colorful and the staff is very friendly!

Decent selection, but the staff could be a little more friendly and helpful. Changed ownership and the new management reached out to me. Very impressive!!!

This place is okay but every time we come here we feel there is lacking in ambiance and friendlier staff. The coffee is a joke. But the sweets are good.

Says they open at 10am. Hour later still waiting. Actually done with waiting. And yes you can see people inside.

Rude staff. Better places to go that won't treat you poorly.

If I could give a lower star I would.We had a large group, 12 kids in total and half of our party went into the store and they closed and Locked the door on the rest of us. We then explained our children and other half of our party were inside already. They then kicked out our entire party as they said they were minutes from closing. Not sure who the owner is but they missed out on a lot of money. Save your time and money go across the street instead they were wonderful. I even got three free ice creams at the lake Wenatchee campground after telling them about our ordeal in Leavenworth..... 12 upset kids who really wanted the “Maui Maui sherbet”.

The wonderful smells of chocolate and caramel! Lots of treats that are hard to find.

Good place to get ice cream and chocolates with lots of other candies about... Staff could be friendlier!

My husband and I went in this evening, with about only two other customers. We were completely ignored as two employees stood behind the counter talking with each other. I got their attention twice, and after looking at me twice they continued on with their task. Eventually we ended up just walking out without being served.

Great selection of candy! They also serve ice cream and popcorn. It seemed understaffed as there were only 2 staff and a large line for ice cream.

I like the store and will recommend it.
